Windshield Repair is meant to restore the structural integrity of the windshield. In almost all cases, it keeps the damage from spreading and preventing the coslty need for a new windshield. Windshield Repair involves cleaning and treating the damage with specially designed tools and resins. In many cases, the damage can be repaired in around 30 minuites to an hour, depending on the extent of the damage. 

If the chip or crack is smaller than a quarter or so and is not in the driver's line of sight, it can often be repaired without the need for a full replacement. Some damage may be this size or smaller and not be repairable depending on the depth and scope of the damage, such as if the glass is crushed. 

No. A windshield chip or crack repair is used to prevent further damage to your glass and to restore the structural integrity of the vehicle. While each incident of damage is unique, with most successful repairs you will still be able to see an imperfection and even the scaring where the crack or cracks were. In most cases, the repair will be roughly 70 percent less visible or better. Normally it is more visible from the inside of the vehicle than the outside.

Yes. While rare, please note this is always a possibility and a risk you assume by having it repaired. Some damage and cracks are so fragile that cold or hot weather, a bump on the road or even washing your car can cause them to run. With windshield repair, pressure is applied to the glass for the resin to flow through the hairline cracks. If the small amount of pressure applied during the repair causes the crack to spread, then the damage was just too fragile and the windshield could not be saved through windshield repair. With that being the case, we do not replace windshields that crack or damage grows during repairs. 

Many insurance policies that include comprehenisve or full coverage will cover windshield repairs at no cost to you. Policies that only include liability insurance will not cover windshild repair. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Absolutely!  We offer one year warranty on all our repairs. If the repaired damage grows to the point where your windshield needs to be replaced, the cost you paid will for the repair will be refunded. We limit our warranty to one year because after that, there is pretty much no chance there will ever be a problem.

I realize that Windshield Repair is meant to restore the structural integrity of the windshield and I will most likely still be able to see scaring or where the damage was once my windshield is repaired. No repair is completely invisible, but rather a repaired piece of glass. 

That the possibility of the damaged glass cracking worse during the repair exist and Auto Tech Accessories, Inc is not responsible for the windshield crack growing or spreading during the repair process. This is a chance the customer takes by trying to repair a damaged windshield. 

That there is a 1 year warranty on the repair and if your windshield must be replaced due to a problem with the repair or if the damage grows and the windshield must be replaced, then you are only entitled to a refund of the price you paid to Auto Tech Accessories, Inc and nothing more.
